Concert Music
My musical womb was the concert music tradition, as a pianist, cellist, and singer - but the first forays into creating my own music were in jazz combos & rock bands. The music I make now comes from these & other influences.

Joining music with text, and the human voice with instruments... This is an important part of my creative identity, especially outside of the ‘concert music’ world, as performer and composer in the tradition of the singer-songwriter.
Electronic Music
Often at the intersection of concert music and popular genres, I am interested in the way technology can enrich, inform and even complicate our relationship to music making. I like to explore electroacoustic music - combining live performance with electronic elements - as well as new interfaces for making music with computers.
